PANAMA FAMILY ADVENTURES

Day 1 Arrive to Panama
A representative of Panama Explorers will meet you at the international airport for your transfer to the hotel booked by Panama Explorers in Panama City.
Day 2 City & Canal Tour – Panama City
Depart from your hotel to visit Panama Viejo, the first city founded on the isthmus by Spanish conquerors at the beginning of colonization period. The remaining ruins are vestiges left by Pirate Henry Morgan, who sacked the town in 1671. We will then head to the second colonial city of Panama, Casco Viejo, built in 1673 and we will walk around the French Plaza and monuments in the area. The architecture of this area is exquisite, including French, Italian and Spanish styles. The last stop will be at the Miraflores Locks to witness the workings of the Panama Canal. Departure time: 9:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. Duration: 4 hours

Day 3 Panama City – Gamboa Rainforest – Emberas
After breakfast visit a paradise found in its purest form. This tour leaves Panama City at 8:00 a.m and begins with a ride in native boat following the route commonly used by the Indians for their daily transport along the Chagres River. Then hike through the forest with a local indigenous guide, an expert who will explain the botanical aspects of the trail and the culture of this authentic Chocoe-Embera village. In the village members of the community will share their culture through dances, rituals, food, etc. You will have the opportunity to partake in jaguar body painting with vegetable ink.
After the tour, we will transfer to the lodge for the overnight.

Day 4 Gamboa Rainforest
After breakfast, we will offer you a hiking tour to Soberania National Park and a boat tour with our naturalist guide to the Gatun Lake to admire tand learn about he great biodiversiy of the neotropics. The rest of afternoon is free to enjoy the resort’s facilities and attactions. Spend the night at the lodge.

Day 5 Pacific Beach
Depart from the hotel after breakfast for the Pacific Coast’s best beach and resort. The hotel offers different facilities as beach-front swimming pools, restaurants and bars, nightly shows, golf courts, and use of games and sports equipment on the beach.

Day 6 Pacific Beach
Enjoy another fun family day on the beach at the Beach Resort.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 7 Panama City
After lunch in the hotel pack your bags for the transfer back to Panama City. Lodging will be at a hotel in the city.

Day 8 Departure from Panama
Today you are picked up at the lobby of the hotel 2.5 hours prior to your scheduled departure flight and transferred to Tocumen International Airport.
